Deposits & Holding of Puppies

I accept deposits on puppies when they are 3 weeks or older. Deposit is $300. and non refundable unless the puppy becomes unavailable due to fault of seller. Once deposit is received puppy is then put on a hold status and balance due upon delivery of cash or money order.

However if you would change your mind within 7 days after deposit is made it can be transferred to another available puppy or on hold for next available litter for a period of up to 1 year. If deposit is not used within that time it will be forfeited.

Please note: If puppy is not picked up at scheduled date and balance paid, said puppy will then be put back for sale and you will lose your deposit.

Pricing

My Rue Babies are wonderful Pure breed Toy Poodles that will give you a lifetime of love which is priceless. All puppies come with a limited AKC registration. Please contact me for current litter prices. Those puppies that have sire or dam champions will be priced after professional evaluation.

Contract

  • All puppies before leaving come with the following:
  • An overall health check up including puppy shots and records.
  • Dew claws removed, Tails docked at 20%,
  • One year genetic health warranty.
  • Fresh grooming to include: Bathing, Nails trimmed, Ears cleaned.
  • Food sample and feeding information.
  • Toy to play with and chew. 

Health Guarantee

All puppies come with a one year health guarantee against congenital defects that would cause a non treatable life threatening illness or death. This covers health issues that were confirmed to have been present at birth.

For your Health Guarantee to be in effect, you will need to take your puppy to a veterinarian within 3 days of purchase for a well-puppy check-up. Sundays and holidays are not counted because veterinarian offices are not usually open for business on these days. We realize that 3 days is a short time period, but we prefer that the puppy be checked as soon as possible before families develop strong bonds. Failure to have a well-puppy check-up within 3 days will render your Health Guarantee void.

If within 3 days your puppy is diagnosed with a life threatening health problem such as heart, liver, or kidney. The puppy can be returned for a full refund (purchase price of the puppy).

Please note: Hypoglycemia is 100% preventable and common in toy breeds. Please carefully read the enclosed article that we provide on this before you receive your puppy.

 

This contract also does not cover internal or external parasites or diseases that are preventable from vaccinations/medications which includes Coccidia and Giardia. All puppies are dewormed at 2,4, 6, and 8 weeks old. But additional treatment may be necessary that is why we recommend you take a stool sample from your puppy to his well puppy check up.

If for some reason the puppy dies within the first 3 days of purchase, buyer must have an autopsy performed to determine the cause of death. The purpose of the autopsy is to verify that the puppy didn't die due to injury, accident, hypoglycemia, or an illness that was caused by the buyer. A copy of the report from the veterinarian must be forwarded to the seller for a refund.

Please note if buyer chooses to keep the puppy, regardless of any health issue, seller will not issue a refund for the cost of the puppy or for any other expense.

Also my Health Guarantees are NOT transferable to new owners if you would sell the puppy. My health guarantees are for MY Rue Babies only and to purchaser of.

My Policies

I have the right to refuse a sale of any puppy if I feel it is not in the best interest of that puppy. 

I will NEVER sell my puppies to puppy mills, pet stores, or puppy brokers. Please do not ask and look elsewhere if that is you.

It is my goal to find the best homes for my babies. Unlike some breeders out there I care where my puppies go and I am not in this just for money! Please think hard on adding a puppy to your family; it is a commitment for life.
